My then-fiance and I really wanted to have something special at our wedding reception instead of the usual DJ or even band so we spent a long time looking at string music options. I found Mallette String Quartet after one late-night google search and I am so glad I did! They seemed perfect and I was hesitant to book because it almost seemed too perfect to be true but in the end our expectations were more than met! We had the quartet as the main entertainment for four hours of the reception (they even played the song for our first dance) and everyone loved it. The great thing about their repertoire is that in addition to the usual classical music, which is always nice to have, they have a huge list of string versions of contemporary pieces. Everything from Lady Gaga to Star Wars music. A couple of our guests were playing a game during the reception trying to guess which song was being played. Honestly my biggest regret about the wedding day is being too busy to pay enough attention to the music myself! As for pre-wedding, Bruce was very easy to work with, answered all my questions and did exactly what we wanted. For our big wedding day, we wanted to set a tone that would convey a feeling of warmth.
